here we go for some pictures about last weekend at Santa Barbara

donc, comme vous le voyez, il n'a pas fait beau temps. bouhhhhh
j'y suis allé avec Loic, marlyse et Amélie
c'est chouette quand même, malgré tout.

le lendemain, après une nuit très proche les uns des autres ( on était dans un dortoir), petite expo de voiture sur la rue principale de la ville:

visite de la mission Santa Barbara: une abbey de Franciscains, encore en fonction aujour'dhui:



Bon, et pour ce week end, et ben voici les photos de l'anniversaire de Marie, hier, au restaurant Chili's, où on nous a donné à manger, tellement qu'on allait exploser.
Marie c'est elle, avec Mark, devant Chili's:


et là c'est nous. Parce qu'on doit attendre 1 heure avant de rentrer dans le restaurant parce qu'il est blindé, on prend des photos débiles.

this weekend i was in Santa Barbara, but I cannot give you any pictures, because i don't have any. Unfortunately, it was raining so much, we stayed a lot in museums and inside the Mission. But I am gonna get some pic soon.
I also went to the French consulate to vote for the future president. There were a lot of people there. The French consulate is on Wilshire Blvd, in a very nice building.
Yesterday, I saw 4 old women speaking in French walking by the extention center. They have been in Riverside since the second world war. There are French EVERYWHERE here.

This weekend I am going to represent France at the multicultural youth day. I will show you pictures and tell you more about it. That sounds exciting.

today has been kinda hot. That's good.

Hi everybody!!

last Saturday, we went to the Sea World. I was with Amelie, Laura and Sarah. It was just to see orques and dolphins. We had a lot of fun. this place is full of kids and children.
We also had to cheer the American and UK army in Iraq at the beginning of the orques show because we were told to do so. San Diego is a center of the US Army.
Then we went to La Jolla ( la Roya), the place to be, the posh place of San Diego.

I was able to get the class I wanted for this quarter. That 's cool.

I am still looking for jobs ;)

Did you see what happened in Virginia Tech University? This country is really crazy. But Amelie told me that her teacher said to the class: " hopefully we are safe here on the campus of UCR, because there are policemen".....no coment.

My parents are coming here in 10 weeks.

I cannot show you pictures because my camera is broken, and I have to repear it or buy an other one. I also have to take the pictures from all of my friends, and I didn't do it.

I went to the easter masse saturday night. It was cool. They baptised 4 people by puting them entirely inside the pool. it's the first time I have seen this.

As you know, i am beginning a new quarter. And the last one. I am struggling to get the class I want because some of them are closed, it means I have to ask for the teacher to let me get the class unless the quota is full already. And this action is uncommon as it is breaking the rules.

Sunday, I went to LA, with Amelie, and two other INT students. A very nice day: venice beach, santa monica, mulholland drive, and then we went to a bar located at the top of a building in downtown LA, so that we could have a view of the whole city by night. It was wonderful.

All the girls from INT that I know, went back from UCR to France: Rihab, Cecile, Fadoua, and Cathrine. Only guys remain here : me , Mehdi and Loic. We may be stronger. We may hold better the situation of staying faaaaar away from home.

I am looking for the BEST internship ever. And I don't know where it's going to lead me to? maybe nowhere.

We also went to a party at Caroline and Mehdi's House mast Friday: a barbecue with too much food. And a good way to see everybody.

I have three month left.
